I have nearly 20 years of experience in varied work environments – international corporations, companies on the way to IPO as well as innovative SMEs, in particular those on the FMCG and ICT market. My specialities are strategic control, financial planning and business intelligence.
I have developed and carried out more than 20 repair and restructuring projects aimed at companies. The minimum level of cost savings, achieved as a result of these projects’ implementation, has never been lower than 15%. In 2013 I gained more than 4 million net profit for my customers. In the process of financial risk management for companies I have carried out more than 15 different optimisation projects.
For many years I have been advising limited companies’ managers and owners on the security issues against business risks, ranging from fraud risk, through foreign exchange risk, to credit risk. Many times I helped to avoid crisis situations, which could have had a negative impact on the financial position and reputation of the companies involved.
I also work in the field of due diligence, internal audit and IPO preparation support. I help companies to implement innovations, which I think is one of the most effective ways of development, representing the company’s success, its stability and survival potential on the market.

Case study
A global company operating in the food industry
In 2001 I managed a project to build a greenfield factory in the Łódź Special Economic Zone. The investment value was about 100 million PLN. I was responsible for negotiations with the SSE and the Ministry of Economy.
The factory currently generates more than 150 million PLN per year, with a gross margin of over 20%, while it is exempt from paying income tax until 2026 inclusive.
In 1999, applying valid import regulations, I took advantage of the duty-free quantitative quotas system managed by the ARR. With the abolition of customs duties on a special blend of flour, used for baking the company’s products, the gross margin increased from 15% to 20%. The average turnover reached approximately 100 million PLN per year.
In 2004, using specific provisions contained in the food standards and VAT regulations, I managed a reclassification project for products manufactured by the company. As a result we acquired the right to apply 7% VAT rate (instead of 22%) for product groups representing 90% of the turnover, and the gross margin increased from 20% to 30% with an average turnover of more than PLN 100 million per year.
A dynamically developing company on the TMT market
I implemented a new information management system, changing the model of reporting from statutory to management. The system allows to obtain information on the profitability of business processes across various sales channels, the amount of operating costs, cash demand, current financial liquidity, and also allows to compare the results with set plans and budgets.
Moreover, the grant that I have acquired in the amount of 1.5 million PLN on R&D allowed to develop and commercialise a prototype of a modern telecommunication platform – Trafix C5. Its market value is estimated at 36 million PLN.
